Description of Services

Dog massage also known as Canine myofunctional therapy (CMT) is a muscle therapy developed specifically for dogs. It is a structured approach of applying precise techniques to help your dog’s muscles.   There are approximately 700 muscles in the dog’s body. These muscles are what allow them to move, run, jump, play and give the body power, strength and ability to move. They can become damaged due to injury such as a collision with another dog, overexertion, repetitive strain or simply through the process of ageing.

Lameness, limping,  an unwillingness to play, go on walks, stiffness, arthritis and a whole host of other symptoms can benefit from this 100% natural, hands on method of injury repair and pain relief. Massage truly offers benefits for dogs of all ages and stages. When used in conjunction with veterinary care,it has many benefits and is similar to sports massage or physiotherapy.

I look at the whole dog. Taking into account the physical, behavioural and environmental factors which play a role in your dog's health and capacity to recover from injury or disease.
